Opening Reception at Heard Museum

Dedicated to the sensitive and accurate portrayal of Native arts and cultures, the Heard is an institution that successfully combines the stories of American Indian people from a personal perspective with the beauty of art.
The Heard Museum sets the standard nationally for collaborating with Native people to present first-person voices.
You will have a chance to explore all of the exhibits and galleries during this reception.
Reception sponsored by ASU's Global Institute of Sustainability and is included in the conference registration fee. Sign up online when you register for the conference.

Frank Lloyd Wright began building this desert masterpiece in 1937 as his personal winter home, studio, and architectural campus. Located on the beautiful Sonoran desert in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains in northeast Scottsdale.

Plants and People of the Sonoran Desert Tour
You will travel through 5 ecosystems of Arizona on the trail and we will focus on how people can use desert plants for food, tools and shelter.

Sedona Tour

The Sustainability House is a student-initiated, student-run project that works to build a strong living and learning community of students with a common interest in understanding and acting upon a broad range of sustainability-related issues.
Academic Complex at Barrett, The Honors College
The Honors College is the nation’s first four-year, residential college within a top-tier public university and supports students at all levels of their academic career.
Decision Theater
Decision Theater is a world-class research facility and decision lab for exploring and understanding decision-making in uncertain times. The theatre has state-of-the-art visualization, decision systems science, simulation and solutions tools.
The Museum of Anthropology
ASU's Museum of Anthropology serves as a place to explore the production of knowledge via innovative museum theories, methods and technologies.
The campus tour will end at the museum. We will tour the museum from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Spring Training Game -- Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Anaheim Angels
Spring training in Arizona is a wonderful time of year for baseball fans across the globe. The air is warm and the atmosphere is electric.
Resilience 2011 is offering you an opportunity to experience this tried and true American tradition. Grab your sunscreen and join us at the new state-of-the-art Salt River Fields at Talking Stick, which is surrounded by some of the most beautiful mountain views in all of baseball, for an exciting major league baseball spring training game.
Bus departs ASU at noon and returns to ASU at around 5 p.m. Game starts at 1:10 p.m.
